EMK Musical Company, Korea's leading musical production company, released a character video for the musical "The Man Who Laughs" on April 21.

The character video of the Korean musical "The Man Who Laughs" begins with Park Hyo-shin, who plays Gwynplen, looking back while covering his torn mouth with a scarf.

Next, Park Eun-tae, who plays Gwynplaine walking among the circus members, and Park Kang-hyun, who plays Gwynplaine, quietly staring at the white snow.

It is a scene that expresses Gwynplaine's lonely inner self with a strange fate.


You can also see Min Young-ki and Yang Joon-mo as Ursus, Shin Young-sook and Kim So-hyang as Josiana, Lee Soo-bin and Yoo So-ri as Dea, Choi Sung-won and Kim Seung-dae as David Kyung, Lee Sang-joon as Pedro, and Jin Jin-hee and Kim Young-joo as Queen Anne.

They show joy, pain, and desire perfectly.

Along with the growing violin, Gwynplaine, who takes off his scarf and reveals his true self, and actors who express various emotions alternately appear.

These scenes capture the ambivalence of humans and the development of the dramatic story of the work.
