BLACKPINK's 'Pink Venom' music video hit 500 million views


The music video of the group BLACKPINK's second full-length album "Pink Venom" surpassed 500 million views on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment on the 7th, BLACKPINK's "Pink Venom" music video exceeded 500 million views on YouTube at 1:07 a.m. on the same day.
This is about 134 days after it was released on August 25.

"Pink Venom" is a hip-hop genre song with BLACKPINK's unique charisma.
Intense beats and the sound of traditional Korean instruments catch the ears from the intro.
The powerful rap and fatal vocals maximized the charm of each of the four members.

The music video surpassed 90.4 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release, breaking the world record for female artists.
It achieved 100 million views at the fastest speed (29 hours and 35 minutes) among K-pop girl groups.

The performance of music was also excellent.
"Pink Venom" topped iTunes 81 countries shortly after its release.
It has topped the U.S. Billboard Global 200 for two consecutive weeks and topped the Billboard Global for three consecutive weeks. It was also ranked 22nd on the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Charts, respectively.

In particular, Black Pink topped the U.S. Billboard 200 and the U.K. official album chart with its second full-length album "BORN PINK" containing "Pink Venom." With this, BLACKPINK won the title of 'the first Asian female artist to simultaneously win the world's two largest charts'.

BLACKPINK is on the world tour of the largest K-pop girl group. So far, it has successfully completed 26 performances in a total of 15 cities. BLACKPINK will meet more fans this year heading to Asia and Oceania.

Ji-Soo's solo project has also been announced, adding to the heat.
