New Jeans' first single album "OMG" topped the Oricon chart.
According to the latest chart (January 6) released by Oricon on the 7th, the single album "OMG" by Newgins (Minji, Hani, Daniel, Harin, and Hyein) went straight to No. 1 as soon as it entered the "Daily Single Ranking."
It is the first time since New Jeans' debut that New Jeans has reached the top of Oricon's "Daily Single Ranking."
Their debut album "New Jeans" set their own highest rankings on "Weekly Album Ranking" (12th) on August 29th last year and "Weekly Digital Album Ranking" (19th) on September 5th.
The single album "OMG," which Newzins sang about their first winter, contains a message on the theme of "relationship."
Newzins talks about the distance, caution, and unfamiliarity that exist in the desire to get closer to each other through "OMG."
The song "Ditto," a track on the single album "OMG" pre-released last month, entered the charts for two consecutive weeks after entering sixth place on the Oricon "Weekly Streaming Ranking" (December 19-25).
